In one of the dreams I had recently I found myself walking in a desert. As I was walking I came upon a man walking out in front of me. He was far enough away that I couldn’t really make out any details about him. All I saw was the appearance of a man walking away from me in this desert. Then suddenly in the blink of an eye He was gone and I clearly saw the appearance of a fox running away from me through this desert. The man was gone, the fox was there, and that’s all I remember seeing in that particular dream.
To my shock and awe, when I was reading through the book of Ezekiel shortly after waking from this dream, this is what I read:
(Ezek.13:3-4)
“Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.”
Like a man wandering in a desert, chasing after a mirage of false hope & false promises which are illusions caused by the environment, so are many of the prophets today. They are wandering in the desert chasing prophetic fantasy. They have been deluded into thinking that what they’re chasing will bring life, when all it will really bring is a hot death as they step further into the bitterness of the desert of false prophetic ministry.
Just as a foolish man goes to the desert looking for water, so is the person who gives themselves over to the spirit of the false prophet. It converts it’s subjects over to living a lie and thinking these lies will bring them life. As the fox is in the desert, so is this spirit. It is clever, stealthy, subtle, and it is a predator spirit sent to devour the seed of the word which produces the God kind of faith. It is sent to attack the righteous and plunder the hen house at night.
(Ezek.13:19)
“And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?”
There’s a false justice, an inequity among these desert foxes which is not coming from the Spirit of God. Somehow with them those who should be taken out according to justice aren’t. No, they’re allowed to endure while the ones who should not be touched, according to God’s justice, are touched and harmed. The scales of justice are perverted with these men and women. Their moral compass in God is broken, and the day it began to crack was when they considered the “barely and the bread” in light of their prophecies. False prophecy creates a very lucrative market for those who propagate it. They fatten their bank accounts while polluting the people, and all the while the people suffer from leanness of soul which comes to those who reject the real word of the Lord and follow after false prophetic fantasy (Ps.106:15).
THE PILLOW PROPHETS
(Ezek.13:20-21)
20 “Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.â€
“The souls that ye hunt” is a reference to the desert foxes, which are called “ravenous wolves” in other places in the scripture (Matt.7:15). The fox is used here to speak of the false prophet’s cleverness and stealthiness when deceiving God’s people. The pillow is a reference to the comfort and padding that these prophets provide through the lies they tell, but the Lord says He will tear them from their “arms” and let the souls go free that they’re hunting. God will take away their comfort and protection, He will expose them in the day and hour of his choosing, and set free the souls which they have taken advantage of for many years.
I find it interesting that the late David Wilkerson made reference to these prophets in a book He released called “Set the Trump to Thy Mouth” the year I was born, 1985. He actually became known for this coined expression which came from this scripture when He spoke of the “pillow prophets”. Here’s an excerpt from that book in which He spoke of this prophetic pandemic within the charismatic church that has only grown since:
“Ezekiel stood alone against all the false prophets of Israel. These prophets would have nothing to do with the message of righteousness and impending judgment. Instead, they prophesied an era of peace, ease, and prosperity. Ezekiel 13 is the very word of the Jehovah against preachers and prophets who accommodate people with flesh-pleasing words they said were from the Lord. Their words were designed to make God’s people comfortable in the face of impending judgment. In fact, they were not satisfied to prophesy good times ahead from their great houses and ivory beds of ease - they sought to provide a pillow for every elbow. “Woe to those who apply a pillow for every elbow…” (Ez.13:18 Spurrell). “Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye entice souls…” (Ez.13:20).” (1)
How can we not say that this has happened during “The Trump era”? Once again I repeat, I have no problem with believing God for blessing, for prosperity, and for good things in this life. Those promises are scriptural promises and we should believe God for those things for ourselves and our families as we serve the Lord. But I do have a problem with prophets and teachers promising those things to covenant nations like America that have waxed more and more wicked by the day, telling them that they will have increase, restoration, and prosperity while ignoring the consequences of sin. The Trump era came with the promises of a man who gave a vision of a restored America that has completely ignored the biblical realities of sin and judgment. This nationalistic message was so easily taken in by the compromised prophet in the charismatic church who was longing for an excuse to teach and preach false doctrine while giving false hope outside of Christ. What an opportunity for the spirit of the false prophet which came through Q Anon and the MAGA movement.
IS MIKE LINDELL OF “MY PILLOW” A SIGN?
Now, for this next part I implore you to humble yourself and carefully consider what I’m going to say, for it is this kind of testing that so many are being exposed with in this hour. The Lord has dropped the plow deep into the heart of the church and stones are being overturned which were so buried deep and we didn’t even know they were there. Bear with me as I attempt to share in simple terms what I believe the Lord is showing me.
I’ve come to believe that the story of Mike Lindell and his company “My Pillow” is a sign to the body of Christ. Consider the pictures I’ve included above taken from my smartphone a few days ago. Here you have one of the most famous Christian Social Media influencers on the internet, Greg Locke, posting this picture of Mike Lindell and President Trump, urging people to go and support him during this time of crisis for his company. Now I want to say that I think that’s a good thing, supporting someone like Mike Lindell as He’s being unjustly treated. I think we should go to mypillow.com and continue to support companies like My Pillow. Mike is a patriot and an american businessman that has put a lot of Americans to work. I think He’s done a lot of great things for this country and its people. But consider the sign that this is.
The promotional code “Hope 45” for this offer is located directly below the word “My Pillow”. As many of you know, if you’ve read my previous articles, I’ve come to believe that the “hope” for President Donald Trump (The 45th President) returning to office this year is a false hope, built up by a spirit of deception and delusion through movements like Q Anon and the prophetic movement in the charismatic church. Is it coincidence that Greg Locke is sharing this? I think not. Greg has been mentioned among the prophets who spoke wrongly concerning President Trump remaining in office and Biden never becoming President. He was quoted as saying this only days before Joe Biden’s inauguration:
“To be clear, I’ve changed my mind about nothing. Trump will remain President. Biden will be exposed. America will remain free. Revival is coming” Greg Locke on Twitter, 1/18/2021 (2).
Is it coincidence that Mike Lindell has been a guest on the show “Flashpoint” with many of these other prophets who prophesied wrongly about Trump, some of which I believe to be some of these Ezekiel 13 desert foxes? I think not. I’m sorry to say, Mike has also been known to push Q Anon conspiracy and beliefs on his social media outlets (at least before His pages were removed), and as far as I know has never tried to make it right when many of those conspiracies turned out to be lies. This is a serious thing saints, to get on a public platform and be a part of spreading lies. I realize that in the age of social media and the internet it can be hard to know what is true and what is false at times, but I believe to whom much is given much will be required (Lk.12:48). If someone has a large following, if someone claiming to serve Christ is exercising a lot of influence with others, then I believe they should be that much more careful with what they say and what they post. And if it’s proven that they’ve been a part of spreading lies then I think they should repent for that, before God and man. It’s not a coincidence that Mike’s company is called “My Pillow” and that he has found company and fellowship with “Pillow Prophets” as His pillow company has come under attack. I believe it to be a sign to the body of Christ about what is happening with Trump prophecy and the desert foxes.
I heard a man of God say a few weeks ago, “Isn’t it just like the Lord to choose defeat for the devil with a pillow fight”. Isn’t it interesting how your beliefs determine the way you look at everything, including prophecy and America. I say, “Isn’t it just like the Lord to send the sign of a Pillow company going down in flames to announce the judgment of America and the exposing of the pillow prophets who have given messages of ease from their ivory palaces and have not properly prepared the church and the nation for impending judgment”.
Now once again I would like to say that I believe Mike is a good man. I do believe that much (if not all) of what’s happening to him currently with this evil cancel culture is wrong and unjust, but this in itself is a message of judgment. Read the bible. The prophets constantly cried out to God about the injustices in Israel being committed against the weak and the innocent (Hab.1:1-4, Amos 8:5), but all of it was a consequence of judgment upon the nation. Yes, that’s right, when judgment comes the innocent suffer as well, not just the guilty. When judgment comes to a nation like America people like Mike Lindell, someone who’s trying to do the right thing, will suffer as a result. Twenty-five years ago in America, even though Ahab and Jezebel were in power in the White House, this couldn't have happened with Mike Lindell. Why? Because the nation wasn’t as deep into the judgment as we are now. This is the message which should be being discussed on the popular prophetic shows now, but it won’t be and I’ll tell you why. Because the ivory palace that is built from the economy of false prophecy must be maintained by more false prophecy and delusion. This economy will always be called the Lord’s blessing, the visible external sign of God’s tangible favor upon the ministers, and God’s sign of approval upon their work, but all I see is the sign of Laodicea. Having been enriched and made to be prosperous it only serves to blind us that much more concerning the reality of our true spiritual state. And for this article I will leave you with this scripture and question,... “How much do we really know this God we claim to serve?:
(Ezek.14:9)
“If the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet…”
In the next article we’ll continue discussing this subject of the prophets who have become the desert foxes of Israel and we dive deeper into the word and see what else God has to say about this.
