UGANDA MISSION TRIP 2024
Dear friends and partners,
It’s with great excitement and anticipation that I announce that it’s finally time to take one of my children on their first mission trip overseas! In October of this year I will be taking my oldest, my daughter Sophia, to the nation of Uganda with our church. There we will preach the gospel, minister to the poor, and support the local church. I couldn’t be more excited and proud of my daughter who has taken this step and answered the call to missions on her life.
Last year, in 2023, after my kids had gone to camp with our church youth group for about a week, several of them came back noticeably touched by the presence of God. Sophia was so touched that she felt she received a clear call from the Lord to do missions in her future. Since then, our home church here in Maricopa, Arizona has come together with another wonderful ministry called “World Outreach Ministry Foundation” to organize a mission trip to the continent of Africa this year. When my daughter heard about this opportunity she immediately stepped forward to take another step toward obeying the Lord in this regard!
Sophia has had an amazing call on her life for as long as I can remember. She was born during an incredible season of visitation from the Lord in 2007. During this season of visitation, we received her name in a prophetic dream. Her name means wisdom!
Proverbs 11:30 - “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.”
My daughter has chosen after her namesake to be wise and go after souls at a young age, and it’s my great honor and privilege to support her and accompany her overseas on her first mission trip. Believe with me for lives to be touched and transformed for eternity as we minister to the poor in this nation. Believe with me for my daughter to be touched and marked for life, as God uses her to love on God’s people in this foreign land.
Also, believe with us for all of the funds to be raised on-time so that we can meet all of the requirements for this trip. A large portion of the total amount for the trip is due within the next 90 days or so. Praise be to God, we’ve already raised some of that, but we’re in need of the rest in a timely manner!
