In this video Stephen discusses a revelation that the Holy Spirit gave to him out of (Prov.13:12) about how hope deferred makes the heart sick. The bible says that when desire comes it’s a tree of life to him/her who’s been hoping. We know that the Tree of Life appears in the very beginning of the bible and also in the very end. Jesus is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, and He’s also the Tree of Life, the source of all life for all of creation. When we put our hope in him and his word we can never be disappointed. If our hearts are sick from hope being deferred we should ask ourselves if our hope has truly been born of Christ.
